These announcers are sad

[rodserling]

Simmons throws a 2 hand chest pass for an outlet pass. It sounded like it was the first, the best, the only 2 handed chest pass in basketballs history.

For those of you that played ANY kind of basketball knows that is the most basic of fundamentals of any 4th grade player.

Basic announcers skill is unbiased commentary.

[EliteBlue]

Yeah. It's getting ridiculous. He banked a shot in on a fast break from 3 foot out and they literally deemed it the greatest basketball play ever.

Verne and Spanarkel have a boy-crush on Simmons that's for sure. He throws an outlet pass to the guy that got a T on the dunk, and you would think it helped LSU win a national title with that pass.

I thought vern had retired. he has been hard to listen to the last few years

[Fancatstik]

Aaron Murray would agree.

Vern usually openly cheers for whoever UK is playing. He called the Cincinnati game in the NCAA toureny last year and was OPENLY cheering for Cincinnati.........he pretty much stopped after Willy posterized somebody.
