I think Coach Mullen should borrow an idea from Jackie and have students vote on several different uniform designs. I remember when Jackie became coach and put the uniform issue to the student body. It was a brilliant move that gave the kids a chance to have a say in the football program and helped promote student pride and participation at games.

Personally I don't see why we ever abandoned the interlocking - or stacked - MSU logo. It was definitive in college football as we were the only school that used it.

I have heard (please correct me if I'm wrong) that Templeton sold the rights to the interlocking MSU logo to Nike. Why he did that is beyond me but don't put it past LT to do something like that to make a quick buck. If it's true, it angers me greatly.

I think the deal with the late Sherrill MSU logo was that Nike actually designed it, so they somehow retained the rights to it.

I'm pretty sure the one that I took photos of at the press conference downstairs in the academic center was already there when everyone filed in. I didn't see who had the one at the pep rally, but they probably kept it upstairs for people to look at upstairs while the presser was going on. Oh, and imo the Maroon Facemask looks SHARP.

What wacky uni are you talking about. You are right about one thing though, Crooms didnt choose to go to russell. LT was in charge of that decision.

The biggest one that sticks out in my mind is the helmet we had during the 2003 UMiss game--they were freakin Alabama helmets with numbers on the side.
