If the antlers fell off then you could tag it either way. Getting one processed around here is a little more difficult since the CWD showed up. Still a few around that process but have to drive a little.

I was told the same at the processor about the tagging. Still had a buck tag that I was saving for wide seven so it really didn’t matter. But it is good to know.

Luckily we haven’t had any CWD around here that I’ve heard. Hopefully stays that way.

Made it to another deer season yall. Always a good goal to attain at my age and with my history. Stupid enough to be in a tree typing this too! Sorry to interrupt y’all’s playoff talk, Eastern Randolph was blown out last night by Shelby 43-41, but I have to share this one. This morning right at daylight had a young cow horn come by on my right. He was trying to commit suicide apparently and stayed about 40 yards away for about fifteen minutes. Well about twenty minutes ago a tall six pointer came from my left. He will be nice in about two years. Anyway that joker is currently bedded down about 70 yards away from me and I’m dang cold!
