Come on western don’t rain on our parade!!!Looks like a great player but remember we have no played any strong teams just yet. I really hope he plays like this against Kansas and NC and in the SEC.

My perception was that the Eric Daniels & Chuck Hayes interior passing was the best frontcourt passing I've seen at UK. Preseason I thought that team was dead-on-arrival and it actually turned out to be the epitome of the whole being greater than the parts - and that passing duo may have been the biggest reason for that, I believe.I haven't seen a non-guard pass as well as him in a long, long time. Best since...Erik Daniels?

He’s exactly the type of player Cal should be recruiting to play the 4 every single year now. It’s amazing how much easier it makes the offense when a dude like that can shoot. We got so lucky to get this kid. Cant imagine where we’d be without him right now considering all the other bigs are hurt. He very well could end up being the difference between another early exit and a final four birth.
Daniels and Hayes was like a work of art to watch then play together. Still one of my all time favorite UK teams. My perception was that the Eric Daniels & Chuck Hayes interior passing was the best frontcourt passing I've seen at UK. I know we recruited Oscar out of HS but we are 2/2 from Huggins, maybe Cal should put him on staff. If he leads us to a title, do we retire Huggins’ jersey?
So true, what a giftWe got so lucky to get this kid. Cant imagine where we’d be without him right now considering all the other bigs are hurt. He very well could end up being the difference between another early exit and a final four birth.
Yea funny how shooters make the game easierHe’s exactly the type of player Cal should be recruiting to play the 4 every single year now. It’s amazing how much easier it makes the offense when a dude like that can shoot.
They ran the high-low to absolute perfection! Best interior passing front court at UK since I’ve been following, and it’s not particularly close.Daniels and Hayes was like a work of art to watch then play together. Still one of my all time favorite UK teams.
He’s a stretch 4, but he’s not an NBA type stretch 4. He’s done well precisely because he has played as a stretch 5.He’s exactly the type of player Cal should be recruiting to play the 4 every single year now. It’s amazing how much easier it makes the offense when a dude like that can shoot.
Small ball has rescued some games for us in the past. Remember last year's "Benny lineup?" Maybe Cal will acknowledge the smallball success before the fans have to taunt him about it.Love the guy.
But I’m still wondering what happens when the centers start playing. Moving Mitchell to PF negates the advantages we have at both positions when he’s at the 5 and Thiero’s at the 4.
Suddenly you have a situation where Mitchell can’t guard some 4’s - while they can defend his perimeter shots. And you lose Theiro attacking 4’s, creating foul trouble for them, and getting to the line himself.
Love the guy. But I don’t love any scenario in which a true center returns and Mitchell plays alongside him.
If one of the bigs can give us some minutes I like Tre at the 4. Going to be money behind the arc and that should help me get to the the rim. Not sure about his D guarding the 4 but like Tres strength and ability to stand tall.Love the guy.
