The USFL Draft is tonight in case anyone was interested, I know there are a few former players that could be drafted, but unfortunately they wont release the name draft pool. Allegedly there will be 500 players to choose from.

The format and times are below:
  • Day 1: Tuesday, Feb. 22 (7-10 p.m. ET)
  • Day 2: Wednesday, Feb. 23 (10 a.m. ET)

Day 1

  • Round 1: Quarterbacks
  • Rounds 2-4: Edge rushers/defensive ends
  • Rounds 5-7: Offensive tackles
  • Round 8-11: Cornerbacks
  • Round 12: Quarterbacks

Day 2

  • Rounds 13-17: Wide receivers
  • Rounds 18-19: Safeties
  • Round 20: Centers
  • Round 21: Inside linebackers
  • Rounds 22-23: Offensive guards
  • Rounds 24-26: Defensive tackles and nose tackles
  • Rounds 27-28: Running backs and fullbacks
  • Rounds 29-31: Outside linebackers
  • Round 32: Kickers
  • Round 33: Punters
  • Round 34: Tight ends/H-backs
  • Round 35: Long snappers

Players will fill 35 of each team's 38 roster spots. Teams will each have to add 10 players after the draft. Three to fill out the roster and seven for the practice squad.

The USFL Draft is not scheduled to be broadcast live on TV. In fact, it won't be broadcast at all.

Instead, the USFL's social media accounts will announce the picks as they come in. It's unclear if they will be announced one-by-one, round-by-round or otherwise, but that will be how fans find out which players will be a part of the spring league teams.

Below is a list of the USFL's official league and team Twitter accounts to check out during the player selection meeting. You can also follow SN's live team-by-team tracker for a complete list of picks.

  • Day 1: Tuesday, Feb. 22 at 7-10 p.m. ET

I can't be the only guy who thinks it's moronic for the USFL to have their draft before the NFL draft, right?

Never heard of him or the school (Tarleton State? Apparently a D2 school in Texas)

Would have thought someone with some name recognition..
Tarleton State Texans are now Division 1 and will be in the WAC. Located in Stephensville ( there is a song by Kyle Park) and are part of the Texas A& M system.

Yes, due to corona. Next year, the New Jersey Generals are the NEW JERSEY Generals. Hopefully, at Rutgers Stadium. We need to get as many New Jerseyans familiar with their State University as possible.
I mean from a cost perspective, playing all the games in one stadium is good sustainability.

No draft on TV, all teams will play at one place. Who is running this league?? Off to an awful start.

Believe Fox Sports owns the league and makes me question how much effort they will put to put a good product on the field when Fox Sports won't even televise the USFL's draft on one of their stations.

He’ll probably never play in that league though, NFL bound?
he'll likely be usfl bound. Don't think he has the leg for NFL and NFL doesn't allow roll out punts. Ryan Anderson had a better traditional pro leg but korsak was a better college punter

I'm stunned he got a combine invite. He's amazing as a rollout punter but Anderson was night and day as far as NFL legs go. He bombed the ball and still didn't sniff a team.
