We all wish tanner the very best of luck
He was a class act
He didn't whine and complain
His coaches stunk
He had a bad olline and terrible running game

However
He was a turnover machine at Tulane
He was a turnover machine at Nebraska
Even when he had time he tossed interceptions, wouldn't check down and wouldn't come off the primary receiver

He could make it as a perrenial backup
He knows the wco and its archaic nomenclature
But he is who he is
The rest is wishful Riley thinking- style over substance

Bingo.

No. Being a troll gets you banned from a message board.
This is ridiculous. Predicting negative success for an ex Nebraska QB on a message board after how he has performed is not trolling. It seems there are still some Riley era apologists wanting to continue carrying the torch.

Tanner Lee is a practice squad QB at best. No NFL team will risk putting him in a real game.

The fact he started over POB speaks volumes. It means either Riley and Langs are nitwits, or POB isn't very good.
I have to agree. Good looking QB, but way too many turnovers. Makes me think he must just not see the field well. One thing is for sure, if he's your QB you cannot even have a sideline out pattern in your offense.

It seems like he is pretty good outside the hashes, his problems seem like they are between the hashes(and ears). I havent really looked closely, but it seems like he has a hard time reading linebackers and safeties and know where their responsibilities are in each defense.

Maybe he is destined to be a coach rather than a player. I wish him the very best of luck wherever life takes him. He seems to have a really good head on his shoulders.

Colorado State runs a pro-style offense. In fact, Mike Bobo has been running a pro-style offense forever, if you go back to his time as the offensive coordinator at Georgia. And that CSU receiver who apparently screwed up so horribly on the INT, made a brilliant catch on the previous play.
The receiver on the throw in to the zone that got picked needed to stop his route in the hole more quickly it appeared to me on the int but he did in fact make a great catch the play before. My point in part is that these guys are running an unfamiliar offense with just a few days of practice. Chemistry and knowing what each is going to do in a given situation is huge for a QB/WR combination. On the int, Lee threw to the hole in the zone and the receiver ran through it about 2 steps too far. If he sits down there it's a nice gain. IMO, IF they had played and practiced together for a longer period of time, that int probably doesn't happen. JMHO. In any case, Lee didn't exactly wow anybody with his play at the Senior Bowl. We'll see how much it affects his status. He may have been better off not having gone.
