I couldn’t disagree more with the opinion that he isn’t that good. I think it’s all confidence with him. That's another problem, but he is gifted offensively.
If he was put in a position where K had to play him for 25 minutes a game for multiple games, I think he would average 10 points & 3-4 rebounds.
He seems to struggle playing for K. Not saying it's K's fault. K is demanding, and maybe he isn't fit for K. There's still time, but he's a junior, not a freshman. Alex plays looking over his shoulder, which is not the way to play. Only he can figure that part out.
I hope he isn't put in a position this year where he has to play 25 mpg because that means 4-5 other players have been injured and I'm not sure the 10 points and 3-4 rebounds would offset his 7-10 turnovers. The leash he's had this year has been very long outside of the Clemson game where he looked like he was shaving points. Hopefully he gets it together, maybe he just needs another haircut.

With each passing game, seems like Joey is eating even more of Alex's minutes. Stanley is a stud, he should be getting 30+. When Wendell comes back, he is going to play too.
I'm rooting for Alex, but wouldn't be shocked if he's out of the rotation soon, especially with K's fascination of Goldwire.
Remember when Alex or Cassius was a debate right before the season?

AOC stepped up big time in Sweet 16 vs VT last season. He will come around in a big spot.

He absolutely has the ability to come in a hit some 3’s to get us out of a tight spot, and I’m certainly pulling for him, I just hope we don’t get into a position that we have to count on that happening
