Huge get. Will easily be the difference between winning and losing some games next year.

Awesome news. There is going to be a good bit of excitement about this football team next year. I know I am looking forward to seeing what they can do together.

I'm hoping for a year like Mullen's first with a little better record. Really as long as I can see the improvement and path to success, I'll be very happy.

Guy is gonna capture so much booty it’s ridiculous. Let’s hope the first mate shrader doesn’t get his feelings hurt, takes a red shirt, can learn leaches system and make a push to a NY6 bowl in ‘21, ‘22, and ‘23. The black spot awaits some spineless codfish on our team.

I thought that too. But tonight I had dinner with a group, and the LSU fan among

us had an officially licensed "LSU 2019 National Champs" hat on. I thought it looked wrong, but he said all their merch says that.

Of course, he attended college at Mississippi State, so maybe he buys his LSU gear at Walmart.

Louisiana State University. The #1 choice of insecure Mississippi State University grads South of Crystal Springs.

The TS experiment ruined me for getting excited. Good quarterback from a big named school who was sidelined with injury last season. I sure hope that after next season I feel foolish for being concerned.

costello was a top-50 national recruit that has thrown for 6,151 yards and 49 touchdowns on 62.6% in his career, including a 3,540-yard and 29-touchdown season in 2018. Tommy Stevens was a low 3 star recruit with 41 career pass attempts at Penn state. they aren’t even close to being the same. Also, Costello hasn’t been coached by Mike leach yet so you know he will just get better based on that alone. Costello has been injured twice in his career and it was a concussion and hand injury.

Reasonable concern. Different animal now though. But still no justification for being overly confident either.

I mean Mike's track record makes it completely different. I do find it interesting that Minshew was his backup until his starter got hurt. Either those guys were equals, or Minshew didn't show as well in practice as he did in games. The similarity is that JoMo and Leach are both willing to upset the apple cart to get who they think the best guy is in place. The difference is that Mike has proven that he can find and coach that guy.

Costello & Stevens are two different level players and Leach & Moorhead are two different level coaches

One, you have to expect our guys to get better in an easy offense, where the QB gets the ball out quickly. Two, we have the numbers needed, if you count the freshmen. I personally expect Harvey to probably play a huge role right out of the gate.

And to think, there were STILL ppl wanting to keep JoMo and the status quo even after the MCB.

Were there? I don't remember that. Seems like most people were just subscribing to giving the guy 3 years to install his offense, but most everybody knew by then that it was just the wrong fit overall.
