Another moving screen...... not called.

Yes ther were setting illegal screens all game not set and throwing there arms and elbows out; those are illegal

People are looking forward to NCAA refs... but we are used to Big Ten refs.. we could easily get some refs that call absolutely every little thing and that will crush our ability to defend. Because if it comes down to both teams not playing tough D and having to hit open shots....

The flip side is we take the ball to the rim quite often and don't get fouls so if they have a tight whistle we might get a lot of FT attempts and get teams who may not be as deep in foul trouble

Thanks.. I needed to see the flip side. Hells yes.. would be nice for teh inside game not to get blown up by un-called fouls.

There were some blatant missed calls. The missed Boudreaux (sp?) push off on Yeboah leading to a three-point play should not have been missed. With one minute 30 seconds left in overtime, there was a blatant moving screen by #50 that sent Baker to the ground that was missed; the play resulted in a three point field goal. It would have sucked to have had two road losses in a row decided, to a great extent, by missed moving screens.

I think Baker flopped on that screen trying to get the call.. but YES.. it was moving and he was hit and it did affect teh play. It was a "highlight" for Purdue so we got to see it a bunch of times.
