But all Beamer had to do was kick the FG instead of going for it on 4 and 1, we would have won the game in spite of our poor DB's.

I don't know if it's here but I've heard from people inside other programs these NIL deals ain't always just money some of them will include "gets X amount of snaps" or "gets to start X games" they're trying to get there exposure for nfl teams. I'm pretty sure Sellers an his mama worked out a deal with Beamer to keep him on the field 8 games or whatever.

The backup is terrible. You do not want to see Woods on the field combined with Sellers making $6-$8M won’t allow him to be benched

Is it possible Sellers plays the he whole game because the QB has to be able to run well to account for the porous OL? Maybe Woods is a better passer but that isn't the priority when the OL can't block.

I don't know if it would work with Sellers and Woods on the field at the same time or platoon the two. The latter situation produced a 10-2 season for Joe Morrison in 1984 (Allen Mitchell and Mike Hold). With our secondary play, we need 40-50 points a game to win. No idea what's broken there.

We kick a FG and UK would have gone for it instead of kicking the FG. They would have scored a TD because we were incapable of stopping anything.
One can argue they may not have made the 1st down i guess but it was very likely
