What's most disappointing to me about this current situation isn't that I was wrong about Riley, but how terribly ugly people act toward Riley and Co and actually believe its justified.
Ok. Got it. I have admitted above that you are right and I crossed a line. And that I am sorry I started the thread. I was pissed and should not have posted while pissed. Can we move on now?

Thank you. This is a man we paid millions to run the most important sports "franchise" in the State, not the nice guy neighbor who helped me fix my son's treehouse over a weekend.

And for the record... I am not "angry" with Riley per se. I don't even know the dude. I am a bit pissed for the reasons you just nailed.

Additionally, this is a big time program and should have acted accordingly.... not having your Finkel AD go on a one man crusade and hire a nice guy mediocre coach so he could be the puppetmaster. Ugh....

I've never gotten divorced thank God (and some hard work), but if I did/do I would hope we could go our separate ways and let it be. Of course, it probably isn't that easy when lots of emotion is involved.

There’s a classy way to get to the same conclusion.

Coach, you didn’t get the job done here, it’s time to go in a new direction.

Result: coach fired.

Coach, you Son of a B*#%h! You made millions and didn’t do anything! You turned fans apathetic.

Result: coach fired.

If you need to be pissed, go for it. We all get the same outcome.

Really? You're gonna stoop that low?
It's all about results. Win and they love u, lose and it's pitchforks up the ***. Nowhere, no team, no fan base is going to blow a losing coach on his way out of town. They say **** like, hip hip hooray!
