Ideolog is that you have to suspend common sense and rational though to support the ideal and then you not only become intellectually dishonest but worse - a non-thinker. Some how I get the feeling that we’ve allowed ourselves to drift from the Information Age, to those Lemming Age - where we blindly follow someone’s instafacetweet because it’s easier than rationally thinking through a problem on our own. Sure a snappy lil quip is a cheap laugh, but it should never be taken as rational thought and you owe it to yourself to question everything that is being put forth (after all life is a learning process and you should never stop learning and should always be in on a quest for more knowledge). I wish we could bet back to a time when people were humans and not just some virtual presence on a social media message board.
