Please pass along that when we struggle a bunch of losers come on message boards and vent their own inadequacies. It happens during games that we eventually win too. IF half of the posters on message boards were as good at life and their jobs as what they expect our players and coaches to be, Nebraska would be a much more wonderful and productive place.

If a player is reading this board, I'd advise against reading anything on here or any other message board/social media for that matter. While you may find nuggets of truth here and there, there is so much garbage to wade through, it isn't worth it in the end. I'd rather hear about a fist fight in the locker room or during practice, then we would know you're making some progress.

So wait.....you can still **** on Riley and the upperclassmen he recruited that play for Frost.....but people can't **** all over Frost and his underclassmen or players at all for a similar product or you talk about their inadequacies......ok hypocrite.

You have somewhat of a point. I supported Riley to almost the bitter end but the proof of his recruiting is in the pudding. Look at how few of his guys who are quality contributors. The difference is that Riley's guys are now at least 3 years in and should have it figured out by now. Most of them don't. I normally try to refrain from calling out players by name but at some point they have to do their job. It isn't Hixson's fault that he's called on before he's ready for the B1G. It isn't Farniok's fault that he has to play OT instead of OG. It damned sure isn't Jurgen's fault that he has to start at center. The one common denominator is that Cavanaugh and Riley's recruiting of the O line left a lot to be desired.

I would like to know, what is his take as to what is wrong? Is the culture still broken? Is there a divide in the locker room? Are people not being held accountable? Are there coaches they don't respect? Are there guys that need to be on the field that are languishing on the bench?

If they read this board then maybe they'll listen to the fans on here who tell them they shouldn't.

The fans here want them walking around eating, sleeping, drinking, dreaming, and speaking football. The coaches tell them to not make football their whole life. Now what do they think they're going to read on the internet from the fans?

The fans want football players on the field making championship plays in ADDITION to merely executing their assignments.

Nebraska has a turnstile O line, 80 plus percent of their starting skill positions injured, and a defense schemed to "allow a few scores"...which isn't all that bad if the offense is pasting the opposition.

This is the time for the team to focus everything on execution of their craft every down. Not worry about stats or the damn NFL. They need to get better every play at not committing blocks in the back, false starts, delays of game, pass interferences.

Blocking...and liking it.....a lot.

The 2019 season results has to be a boon for football recruiting.

Most high school 3* could come in and start tomorrow with what they're seeing.

Great. Hey players who read this...Has Coach Frost lost the team? THX in advance.

yeah you wish, but my God, I have seen the bull **** your posting in this thread alone and you’re a definite troll that’s not a Husker fan. I completely get our actual Husker fans being unhappy with this season and how we are struggling but the way you’re talking, you’re just hoping for this team to completely fall apart and Scott Frost to lose this whole team which would lead a complete disaster for our Husker football program. Keep wishing troll, Frost isn’t going to fail (regardless of the struggles of this 2019 season) and he will rebuild this team and in the end...he will succeed. So enjoy it now while it lasts, it’s only going to last while we have these upperclassmen. We have some good to great freshmen and sophomores coming up. Eventually Martinez’s class will end up being juniors and seniors and that’s where we (Husker fans) will see better football being played. Believe that.

no thanks. If you don’t have faith in Frost, then jump off the edge and find a different team to root for. I have faith in Frost and I’m not stupid enough to think he’d have things fixed in a year and half.

And I definitely won’t hope this team completely falls apart and Frost loses the team. That’s just stupid talk. We need to rally behind this team and stick by Frost. Not turn on him.

What was your preseason prediction again?

He has made some peculiar decisions since he came home. He will have another five years to fix those decisions.

Fanbase isn't the issue. They show up and sellout every game. Even road games.

Just a few points to make.

Barry Alvarez at Wisconsin went 1-10 year 1, then went 5-6 in year 2 and then went 5-6 in year 3 and then finally in year 4 he went 10-1. It took him 4 years to rebuild the Badgers.

Kirk Ferentz at Iowa went 1-10 in year 1, then went 3-8 in year 2 and then went 7-5 in year 3 and then finally in year 4 he went 11-2.

My point is this, most decent to good coach when doing a complete rebuild takes 3-4 years before they start winning again. These two Head Coaches both had to do a complete rebuild just like Scott Frost is now. Us expecting results in year 2 is a bit of a stretch at best. We have to be patient just like Wisconsin was with Barry and Iowa was with Kirk.

so what, I was hopeful like a bunch of us was. But it didn’t happen and that’s when I truly realized we where in the middle of a rebuild and this will take some time. It doesn’t mean I jump off the ledge and start demanding firing Frost and giving up on him and staff. We have to give time. Simple as that.

When you have to go all the way back to the 1990's to find examples that prove your point, you do not have a good point.

If say so. It doesn’t matter time frame. Doesn’t matter at ALL. It’s two Head Coaches we all know that both pulled off rebuilds. Don’t flip it because it doesn’t fit your agenda. 1998 or 2001 or 2017...doesn’t make a difference at all. Rebuilds take time.

That's fine, I don't have a problem with a proper re-build that takes time. It's the spiking of the koolaid by the media, perpetuated by the University, and fully drunk by the sunshine pumpers that I have a problem with. Where were all these facts you just posted before the season? Why doesn't the media report these facts?

Not to mention all the other failed examples since the 90's which is why that example stinks...lol. my advise.... abandon the 3-4 after this season. Get large oline and large RBs. Go to the power game. Basically rebuild the strategy.

Social media/message boards are cancer. Players should never look or be on them if they are looking for positive things. Anyhow if they are, I'll just say keep your heads up and work your asses off.

We as a fan base are obviously supportive, we are just frustrated as you all surely are.
