K needs to ban the chest bump. Period. As far as the nastiest block/strip ever, I am conflicted. Zion made it look so rediculously easy, it almost looked more routine than nasty. Or, does making it look so easy make it all the more nasty?

I cant remember who sang it, but a few years ago there was a rap song that said gimme that in the chorus. I would love for that music to be inserted when Zion rips the ball out of the air.

IMO the fact that he made it look so easy is what made it so nasty. When it first happened, I had to rewind it to see how he ended up with the ball because it happened so fast.

I knew what play this was going to be before I even clicked the thread... and if I remember correctly, right before this play, Zion had got fouled and knocked down some FT’s on the offensive end.

Like taking candy from a baby. Can't say that that is not a nasty thing to do! Totally agree with the having to watch it again to see of he really did what it looked like he did.

Reminded me of when Brand would block shots with 2 hands. Was more like taking it away.

Absolutely love how hype Zion gets for RJ’s success and vice versa. It’s not just them two either. The bench is completely engaged throughout the game. It really doesn’t matter who makes the play for this team because anyone’s success will be celebrated which is great to see.

This. One of the most promising things is how hyped they get for each other.

Also, Zion is the next LeBron. If he stays healthy, he's a new type of basketball player.

That’s one thing that I noticed throughout the game. Every time Zion or RJ made a big play they were the first to hype the other up as well as the rest of their teammates after they made big plays.

Some of our posters have compared Zion to a Larry Johnson type. Larry was a terrific player, but he didnt have any of "Magic" in his game! Z does......

The dribble and thread the needle bounce pass thru traffic after the sensational block/takeaway???!!!Are you kidding me????
Yes, Old Fart Club guys on this board CAN JUMP!!!!

I agree about the chest bump, some one's gonna get hurt! lots of high intensity testosterone flying about, some ones gonna break a rib!.I do love the intensity between R.J. and Zion, these guys are going to push each other all season,

Not just the athleticism of the block, or should I say "The Snatch," not just the skill of that perfect pass, but the vision necessary to even attempt that pass!! He displayed that kind of vision on another pass off of a fast break-again to RJ, I think. Amazing!

He had oneto Tre early on that was equally impressive. It just lacked the block that came with it.

The play was so reminiscent of this beauty in terms of excitement, skill and momentum.

Still gives me chills watching that sequence.

The MVP of that play is Duhon with some terrible D. Haha. Thanks to him, Shane had to be spectacular. Also thank you to the ref for not blowing a foul. It wasn’t a foul, but if we were playing Carolina, they would’ve arrested him for assault.

Totally agree DJ. They weren't passed to a buyer who came wide open, the were bounce passes threaded through the defense to guys who weren't open except for a perfect pass.

Anplay no one mentions that impressed me was a pit of no where offensive rebound that he got then got fouled when he tried to put it back after coming down. How quick he got off the floor and how easily he grabbed in from EJ. Said his last year and will repeat that I’d take him number one over RJ. Hopefully he goes to the Kings (he’s put Bagley on the bench) or especially Dallas who needs a replacement for Dirk
