So I’m not sure how many of you realize what Starkville looked like a decade ago. But it was not near the place it is today. MSU having a successful football team is essential to the economy and infrastructure in Starkville. Condos, restaurants, hotels, etc. There are people who can see that they are about to lose shitloads of money that have already stepped in with the right people. I have thought the entire time that Cohen won’t make a change, but at this point, I don’t think it’s gonna be Cohens decision. Money isn’t everything, but it is right up there next to oxygen, and you’d be surprised what people who have a lot of it can pull off when they’re about to lose some.
