I've heard of a site where you can find players who want to leave the college they are playing at for a new one. I don't know how reliable it is, but there is a chance a kicker could be found. Also, there are some schools that play football for only two years and let their players go to a new school to complete their playing time. They might be high risk since they were not good coming out of high school and have grown the last years. You never know, one of those two places might have some players willing to come to Nebraska!!

Also, there are some schools that play football for only two years and let their players go to a new school to complete their playing time. They might be high risk since they were not good coming out of high school and have grown the last years. You never know, one of those two places might have some players willing to come to Nebraska!!

I have read where large schools have held open tryouts for kickers. With so many kids who have grown up playing soccer, the chance you have someone enrolled who can kick simple 40 yarders is fairly high.
