F it. 67-65 RU. 4 & 11 combine for 45 points and have a nice memory from their final game wearing the home whites.

We'll probably lose by 25 because I tried to be optimistic.

One thing to note is Maryland rarely wins easily...they know how to win but I think only 1 or 2 wins by double digits in the big 10 this year

Maryland is a hoops centric school. It has been the mainstay of their department since forever, even when they won a championship in football.

Maryland hoops has a long history.

RU pulls an upset in front of a very appreciative Senior Night crowd, 77-71.

Not true Maryland was a big time football and boxing school from the 20's to the 70's. We were a ranked team annually, won the 3rd most football conference titles in the ACC.

Wasn't until Lefty Driesel said he wanted to make us the UCLA of the east that the change happened. The the school just started landing top 5 recruiting classes regularly that we became a basketball school. It's funny because that was a way out there statement at the time considering how average we were before Lefty came.

Anywho wish your fans supported Rutgers basketball better. PSU should be the only joke in bball. Rutgers has access to plenty of recruits. It's not the facility, but the lack of fans I see on TV is the problem.

RAC could be cozy and hostile. I have high hopes for Rutgers in future.

Let me see other teams go 24 years w/o a tourney bid and try to fill their building. If we even had a hint of success the place would be jammed all winter

We have good fans, would like to see if Maryland had not been to dance in over 20 years how good there support was.

First of all I expect a small crowd because the next snow storm will be starting in the late afternoon before the game.As to the game I expect Rutgers to give a good effort on senior night.

It wasn't that long ago when the RAC was cozy and hostile. In 2003-2004, we were 17-2 at the RAC.

The two losses:

*1-point loss vs. No. 1 UConn
*2-point loss vs. archrival Seton Hall

To us getting older guys it doesn't seem like all that long ago, but the sad truth is that 2004 was a lifetime ago in the world of college hoops. I mean, Mack and Jack are playing their last home game tonight and they were in 5th grade then.

My guess is at least a few hundred. If it was a weekend game, it would undoubtedly be 1k+.

Without knowing the exact number of MD fans attending tonight, I promise you that they will be loud and probably annoying. It's who we are.

No, what is sad is that there is not a single Rutgers undergraduate student who was alive the last time RU went dancing.

I get your point, though.
