With kiss 76ru, 63fdu. Without kiss 71ru, 63fdu. I imagine the score won’t be fully indicative of team maximized skill set because Pikiell will be trying many rotations, lineups etc. A close score does not mean Rutgers is mediocre. Players will get their burn.

If you believe the seat map on ScarletKnights.com (I don't - it's a lie to try to sell flex plans) the crowd will be way over 6,000. It shows the 100 and 200 levels basically sold out along with half the 300 level .

Rutgers is really hurting single-game sales with this charade.

As for the game, let's go 77-63 home team.

Will be tight game at the half and we win by 7. Won't be an easy win. Too many kids playing under the lights and together for the first time.

Illinois beat #231 Evansville by 39.
Northwestern beat #304 New Orleans by 30.
Minnesota beat #229 Nebraska-Omaha by 28.

Fairleigh Dickinson is ranked #258. If those are teams we want to be fighting with for #12 or 11 in the conference standings, I'd love to see a similar kind of effort, like how we crushed them last year. OTOH Iowa only beat #266 UMKC by 14.

As much as you can draw a conclusion from a one-game sample, a single-digit win would be pretty discouraging.
