I thought that the grueling big 12 schedule was supposed to prepare these teams for the tournament. The horrible sec will be Uk's demise while these juggernauts that play in the big 12 are just oozing with poise and confidence so far. bwaahahahahahahahahahahahah.

I think it is becoming obvious that all the big 12 consists of is a group of average teams that beat each other and peter out against anyone else. Their entire conference does the same exact thing every single year.

Butler waxing Texas. Baylor is opening it up, but if Harrow played I think they may well have knocked them off.

exactly, they get overrated by clueless voters who know nothing about basketball. then just beat each other all year and remain on top.

Yep. I even fell for the bait with Iowa State..... Until someone besides Kansas does SOMETHING, they will all be treated like South Carolina as far as I am concerned.

It's too bad UAB wasn't in the big 12 this year. They could have been ranked in the top 15 all year despite losing every other game. They could have finished in the top 3 in the conference and got a 2 or 3 seed with 9 losses. What a joke.

Don't look now, but down goes mighty Baylor.

But guess what? Next year the Big 12 will be the best conference in the galaxy again. Because sports broadcasters are complete morons who can't add 2 and 2.

Big 12 is a garbage conference. No way in any shape or form is the Big 12 better than the SEC. I don't care what anyone says. There is no evidence to support the Big 12. If titles are the only that matters, then the Big 12 has failed miserably.

Awful, just an awful conference.

LMAO I knew you guys would have these threads but in your defense, you did tell us so.

*I didn't have ISU or Baylor going very far, either.

Big12 just destroyed mine. I had Baylor playing Arizona and Iowa State playing Duke. I should have known better.

This is how Kansas is able to ring off all those conference championships in a row, and how a depleted Kansas squad ws able to do it again this year. The BIG12 is overrated and one of the worst leagues of the power conferences. You put Ole Miss in an Oklahoma State uniform, and they are instantly AP#15. Your league has been exposed.

About to go 0-4. Glad they've got 3 more teams in the dance. They might even muster 1 or 2 wins for the whole Big 12. Pitiful. I for one thought that UCLA didn't even deserve a slot, and I still think that. But they are sure handling SMU right now. Then again, Larry doesn't feel well.

Texas? 'Nuff said.

This is dead on . I had a post 3 weeks ago where i said if Oklahoma and Baylor are top 25 teams then LSU , Texas A&M ( at the time ) , And UGA are as well. And it is shown to be true. The Big 12 has alot of decent teams . Nothing more . At least the ACC as 2-4 teams who have Final 4 potential and to call them the best is somewhat understandable but the Big 12 has no team i think who gets beyond this weekend besides possibly Oklahoma.

exactly. If Kansas is the best team in the BIG12, and they are, that SCREAMS ****** conference. Kansas was a GOOD team WITH Alexander. Without him, they are extremely average. And they WON the BIG12 easily. People should really stop and let it sink in.

Can't wait to see how Doug Gottlieb spins this. he's such a BIG12 homer. It's a bunch of average teams with 1 above average team in KU. When one team can dominate a conference every single year for as long as KU has there's a strength problem. I knew my eyes weren't failing me, I get bored out of my mind watching any big12 game because they look average to me, very un-athletic and underwhelming. I couldn't figure out why everyone was saying it was the toughest conference.

I just had a thought
our AD hired a coach from that conference, we all should have known how that would end

No problem. I only knew that because they played UCONN for the conference tournament title. I looked up to see what conference they were in.

Memphis and UMass aren't from the big 12

and the B12 used to be a good conference about 20 yrs ago,
and I also know that Rupp was from that conference as well

You guys think your brackets are broken? Really? I went out on a bit of a limb and had Iowa St. Getting beat by the Cats in the title game.
