Have been one of the biggest gut punches I have ever had as a fan.
We blow the game last night because the offense disappeared in innings 2-7, our pitchers walked 11 guys in the last 5 innings, and we lost a pop fly in the lights.
Now mother 17ing Vanderbilt, who has played like **** all weekend, is handed a free ride to the finals. A team that should have lost to Stanford and had to pitch Kumar Rocker to barely squeak by NC State’s JV squad. A team that already has every advantage possible.
Think about this ****- if NC State had pulled it out yesterday and we had taken care of business last night, we are national champs this morning.
Now however wins today will play a fully rested Vandy in a best of three series with a depleted staff going against a rested Leiter going game 1.
I love MSU baseball. I really do. But I cannot watch this rigged ******** anymore. The NCAA is the absolute 17ing worst and ruined what was a great tournament, and the fact that Vanderbilt is the beneficiary just takes the cake.
