They go over a lot of people's heads and most are geared towards the youngest and up to date demographic. He does the best interviews and is my favorite by far. Letterman and Leno stopped being funny over ten years ago. Ferguson sucks. Kimmel, Conan, and Fallon are all pretty funny. </p>
Does anyone under 60 actually still watch Leno? That guy sucks so much ***. Drop Leno to last place and Letterman a little above him and I like your list. Although I personally find Stewart funnier than Colbert, but that's just a humor preference.sleepy dawg said:

Jimmy Fallon had a small cameo appearance in "Band of Brothers." He was driving a jeep full of ammo and such to resupply E-Company just before they headed in to Bastogne to begin the Battle of the Bulge. He played a small, but important, part in the war. For that, Jimmy Fallon, I am thankful.
If I remember correctly, Jimmy Fallon told Capt. Winters good luck, and warned him that they would be surrounded. Capt. Winters responded, "We're airborne, we're supposed to be surrounded."

And I didn't say I even like Leno... But his show is funnier than Fallon's. Jimmy Fallon just sits up there and giggles the whole time. The truth is, none of these shows are that great. I only watch any of them depending on the guests they have that night.
The worst thing about him is that while he laughed in just about every skit he was in, he nearly ruined some of the best skits ever (watch the More Cowbell skit again and realize Fallon was a giggle away from 17ing the whole thing up).

Letterman -F- Hasn't been funny for about 15 years.
Kimmel -B- Good host. He likes his jokes more than you do, though.
Conan -C- Was funny for a long time. Now, eh, not so much. Skits are ridiculous.
Ferguson -C- Don't watch him much. Does he still have a co-host that is a, uh, robot?
Stewart -F- Dumb jokes for even dumber people.
Colbert -F- See above.

He lives in the heads of the Bill O'Reillys of the world in much the same way that Mullen lived in Nutt's head. And he does it from Comedy Central. Brilliant.

I'll admit I prefer silly humor so Colbert > Stewart but putting Kimmel that high is just bizarre to me, I'd rather watch ESPNews for the 4th time of the day than his crap. He has a good comedic background, along with just enough knowledge of politics, and an understanding of his audience. Basically, if you call out that he panders to a left wing audience with nothing but vicious attacks, he pulls the "I have a conscience, you are what's wrong with politics" crap, but when you try to call him out on actual political issues, he hides behind "I'm just a comedian!"
