Just got Kadary Richmond from the Cuse. Certainly talented. Really hope Rutgers-SHU happens.p
I'm hoping he's the deferred payoff from what we thought we were getting in Thompson!Well, I think Kadary Richmond is really good but for their sake, I hope this works as well as Taurean Thompson.
Likely hiring a bunch of new assistant coaches as well. The Hall has been adding alot of talent it appears
Ha .Likely hiring a bunch of new assistant coaches as well.![]()
Congrats to smurfs for winning the offseason again, at least thus far.
Well that’s his whole worth capsulized right there.Congrats to SHU. He played 37 minutes against us. He scored 6 points against us on 1-5 on field goals, 0-2 on threes and 4-6 on foul shots. He did have 7 assists and 2 turnovers and 5 steals. They are losing Sandro and Reynolds but this should help them.
Took a lot for this young man to make it to the US.Well by the time he graduates or leaves he will be 25-26 years old.
I’m sure it did it’s too bad Biden wasn’t president 10 years ago there would have been plenty 25-26 year old juniors at the Hall coming from those Eastern European countries.Took a lot for this young man to make it to the US.
You would have had your share too.I’m sure it did it’s too bad Biden wasn’t president 10 years ago there would have been plenty 25-26 year old juniors at the Hall coming from those Eastern European countries.
Instead all the schools had to fight over Norway's slim pickins.I’m sure it did it’s too bad Biden wasn’t president 10 years ago there would have been plenty 25-26 year old juniors at the Hall coming from those Eastern European countries.
What's SHU selling? On paper, they certainly appear to be winning the recruiting race. I understand that Pike is more methodical in his approach and primarily recruits system players, but I would think going forward - considering conference affiliation, the APC, and our recent success, including the 2019 beat down - that we should be winning the majority of recruiting battles with our in-state rival.
What makes you think that RU had any interest in the two players that SHU got? What's SHU selling? On paper, they certainly appear to be winning the recruiting race. I recall that beatdown with Myles Powell and Mamu watching on the sidelines. Let's see what happens when both teams are healthy. What's SHU selling? Without Powell shu has been very mediocre. Powell was in that game early when shu was getting run off the court. that day it didn’t matter. Maybe shu gets better and ru takes a step back. We’ll see I guess. Good luck with the transfers.I recall that beatdown with Myles Powell and Mamu watching on the sidelines. Let's see what happens when both teams are healthy.
I'm glad he made it all this way to get his *** kicked by Rutgers, assuming your team doesn't keep running away from facing usTook a lot for this young man to make it to the US.
I correct you since I know what a slave to the facts are. We have two. Nothing to brag about and disappointing but knew you’d want to have your rat facts right.Hmmm....in the last 20 years, we and shoe have the same number of NCAA wins. And shoe ducked us this past season.
Shoe winning the offseason means nothing.
The hubris of this post is great:
1. You've had 2 years of success out of 3 decades. You're talking like you should own the metro area from 2 years of success alone. Rutgers isn't a blue blood of NJ that's supposed to poach all the top tier talent
2. Although most of you think the B1G is grandiose, it's a wildly overrated conference.
3. Willard has a propensity to attract tough city kid talent - see Desi, Delgado, Carrington, etc al. That's why we got the Harris Brothers and Richmond.
4. Hilarious that 1 beat down win against us correlates to winning kids over to your program![]()

You have to be joking right? SHU beat penn state by 6 this year and RU lost to them by 8.Before Powell’s concussion RU was up 9. After ended up winning by 20. So that tells me that with Powell, RU is 10 points better than SHU, and without Powell, still 10 points better. Willard and the Pirates completely hiding from Rutgers last season is one of the most pathetic things I’ve ever seen in sports. Imagine Auburn not wanting to play Alabama one year because Auburn was bad. Just pathetic but not surprising from that coach or that program
You have a very large alumni network. But it’s not of the same value as say Notre Dame where Domers hire Domers. No one is choosing Rutgers because of the alumni. Not hubris...pragmatism. Seton Hall has unquestionably been the better in-state basketball program for most of the past 3 decades. PJ had an amazing run. Amaker was a lights-out recruiter and props to Willard - he's done well. However, as I said, "going forward", if a recruit has narrowed his decision to both Rutgers and Seton Hall and neither program is employing suspect hiring practices; neither program are employing bag men; both programs offer comparable staff familiarity, position need, and player development - that recruit would be better served at Rutgers for the above-mentioned reasons. There's also academic recognition and a top tier alumni network for those 99 percenters...and $50+ million annual other reasons. Time will tell. Go RU.
Shu psu was an overtime game. Penn state was called for 29 fouls against shu and 11 against ru. Anyway I’m sure you don’t think comparative scores means anything and were just trying to make a point. RU was the better team this year in any event. Good luck in the future. You have to be joking right? SHU beat penn state by 6 this year and RU lost to them by 8.
So by your logic SHU is 14 points better than RU and would’ve run them out of the gym this year right?
I understand not being the laughingstock of major college hoops for the first time in 3 decades can very intoxicating but you’re kidding yourself if you don’t think a SHU-RU game this year wouldn’t have come down to the last possession.
And as for your pathetic coach/program comment- one program has had a coach abuse players while the athletic dept looked the other way in the past decade and the other hasn’t. I’ll leave it to you to figure out which one is which.

Exactly the point. We’ll never know for sure but to say ru was 20 points better based off of a previous season’s result against a delpeted shu team is silly IMO.The transitive property strikes again. As to RU-SHU this season, you may have been right, you may have been wrong. This I can guarantee.![]()
