He gets on Finebaum and says he repsects other coaches who recruit the right way. The guy just doesn't get it.

And he has no problem with the fact that he lied to numerous prospects about the NCAA investigation. What a sanctimonious piece of crap. He and his AD have lied to their own fan base since this started and how he can call anybody out is beyond belief.

He really does have mental issues. The thin skin has always been prevalent but the mental issues have really been showcased this past year.

OM fans are not far behind believing everything he says. I couldn't get behind a coach like him.

He's a narcissist who has some behavioral signs of a psycho-sociopath.

I've been back and forth over the past four years on whether he's just a sociopath, or he's actually delusional enough to believe everything that he says and does. For most of that time I've felt it could be either way, but after the way he's handled the past year with the investigation looming over him, I'm almost convinced it's the latter. If all of it was calculated on his part, he'd know he's cooked at this point and would be quieting down as he prepares to bow out. But no, his recent behavior, especially in the wake of signing day, is that of an individual who truly believes he's done nothing wrong and that he's being unfairly persecuted by those who want to see the "good guys" fail. It's honestly a little sad because really it goes past delusion into mental illness.

Im with you. When he compared Jesus being nailed to a cross to him and his situation with the NCAA that in itself proves it. There is no way I could ever get behind a coach like him. It's a good thing they have him, not us. I prefer our Scientologist** over there psychotic narcissist all week, every week and on Sunday's...

I believe this character was modeled after Hugh Freeze.

I'd also compare it to a different Seinfeld episode. The one where George invites Susan's parents to his fictitious house in the Hamptons, and much to his surprise they accept. Freeze is George and Finebaum and company are Susan's parents. Currently all of the media are giving him all the rope he needs to hang himself.

That's my problem with him. At first I thought he was just a bit aloof, but he's a huge hypocrite. Still he seems oblivious to others impression of him.

Lastly - I just don't buy how he's an effective recruiting anyway. I guess if you buy into all that preacher talk, maybe. Let's face it... most of their flashy signees sign for the bling, hos and party image. The exact opposite of what he SAYS they stand for. If you ask me.... "God's favor" is coming to roost.

Like I said yesterday, Rebel fans should be cringing at the idea of ever having to fire Freeze. He will act like a petulant 14 year old girl being dumped by her first real boyfriend. His passion to burn them to the ground will be magnified by his belief that they are stealing his platform to "save" people who apparently need a $5M a year spiritual guide.

Can't wait for the fireworks boys
