I was in Charlotte for that and the Florida State game....of course I live in NC, so it wasn't but a 2 hour drive.

Big Blue Nation took over charlotte even with 2 ACC schools there...

That game was a fluke (mediocre player catching fire - Brooks), which was proven by the results at the end of the year. Celebrating that is like Indiana fans being proud of their fluke regular season win over the 2012 team.

Didn't we so the same to UNC and Tenn at home though? Weren't we doing the same to Auburn until Washington went down?

I'd pick garbage current day cal ball over the 90s. Just to be 23 again.
You're 100% correct the world is worse than its ever been now and will only get worse. It's not safe to leave your home now. Never know when some idiot will start shooting up places.
