unlike scenarios where a team has to depend on what other teams do down the stretch, our destiny is in our own hands: we play teams that are mostly above us in whatever metrics are used to determine dance status that we will, if we take care of our own business, have possibly several more Quad 1 wins to fatten the resume.

Want some really good news/perspective? This season, we're 100% in on Valentine's Day and would have to play our way out. Every year since that year with Gary Watters at HC, we've been 100% out and needed a miracle (which obviously didn't come) to get in. I prefer this.
