I thought 247 had some kind of professionalism policy? If so, the spirit crew must violate said policy on an almost daily basis. At least I think the phrase “douche canoe” is unprofessional- that sounds like something more reserved for a middle school locker room than a grown man on Twitter.

In my day, if you were jawing in the parking lot of The Landing and started a sentence with "Chief" you were generally laying in the gravel soon after and never got "douche canoe" or "chode" out of your mouth.

Landing was such a great place. It's a shame the kids today won't ever get to experience it. I'd say Flo and Eddies too but they already have an awesome Cotton District area now that's much better. Still can't beat that Sampler Platter though.

Landing was an institution, but it was ridiculous that students had to drive out that far and risk life and limb (a few were lost) to tie one on. Adult stupidity on full display (like college kids aren't going to drink).
