Dude Wall is not faster than Fox in any way, shape or form. So you might be smoking something.
only someone smoking something would say their own opinion proves something and that anyone else who disagrees are smoking something.

you got stats to prove what you say? becsuse i'm not saying one way or the other one is definitively faster or quicker. you are.

so it's your eye test against the world's and no matter what the world says you are the one that is correct. ok.
Listen, cry baby...I know several people who think that Fox is faster than Wall. There are even some in this thread. So please, go sit in the corner somewhere and leave me be.

listen, illogical bs-er, you don't know anything definitively and have no stats and can therefore not logically claim anyone else's opinions are false. so keep your opinion just that and stop projecting it as fact.

K, now shuffle off and go protest baby.
that stings.

am a historian and narating in several avenues the reasons not to overreact to the current state of things. you were wrong beginning to end here. work on your intuition, it's very opinionated and wrong a lot. just here in this short time.

Shouldn't you be using proper grammar if you are an educated historian?

I do not understand how anyone can watch these 2 play and NOT come away thinking Fox is faster in ever single facet of the game. To me, it's not even really close. Wall did not and does not have a very quick first step, takes him a while to get going and then he becomes fast. Ive always thought his speed was vastly overrated. Fox is the overall faster guard Cal has has since D Rose. Brandon Knight and Marquis Teague, Eric Bledsoe also had quicker first steps than Wall. Wall was only really fast once he got going....

Im glad you said this and not me. mostly im just glad you said it. I always thought Wall was i bit over hyped

Uh, I suggest you go back and watch John Wall play. Dude had a killer first step and still does. WTF man.

You think Wall was overhyped? He over performed his hype while at UK. Dude was the most electric player ive seen in a LONG time and he was clutch as hell. Go back and watch the games, I have and you couldn't be more wrong.

Wall took huge strides with the ball. Which made it look like he was running slower than he really was.

End to end I think he's the fastest player we've seen.

Yeah same here. He is only lightning quick once he gets going....not saying he isnt a great player with top notch speed...but Fox burns him in every facet.

Basketball is not just "end to end". No offense but I hate when that is peoples only argument when saying Wall is the fastest ever.

They have similar height, and similar speed, but I think that trying to compare the two is a bit of a reach. They play the game a different way. They have different personalities. Instead of describing Fox like Wall, I would describe him as a 6'3" Tyler Ulis. Can anyone else see that? Does anyone else think that Fox and Wall are not as similar as they are made out to be?
I totally agree that's a good point..I felt the same way as soon as it was being said he was like wall. Ulis tho

I know it's been 6+ years, but people seem to have forgot how good John Wall was. He was dominant--the best player in the country the moment he stepped on the floor. He willed UK to several wins and a 35-3 record. There was a reason he was the number one pick.

I can't help but scratch my head when I read things like, "Fox has better long term potential, because he can be one of the best point guards in the NBA." John Wall is averaging 24 ppg, 9 apg, 5 rpg, and 2 steals on 45% from the field and 38% from 3. He doesn't have potential to be great, he already is. He's a multi time all star at age 25.

I love this team and Fox, but we've played a subpar schedule so far. Wall's full season stats (much better competition) are similar to Fox. Fox's raw numbers will likely go down a bit just because I doubt UK averages 93 points this season. Six games into Wall's career he was averaging 19 ppg and 7.9 apg on 52% shooting.

Fox is great. He's very under control, looks to be a great on ball defender, has excellent floor vision, and a very nice mid range game. I can't wait to see how the season plays out. Fox is going to be awesome by March (already is in some respects), but that doesn't mean it's at the expense of Wall.

He's got a ways to go before a legit Wall vs Fox conversation could be had. Wall had one of the best individual seasons anyone has ever had here and he's a multiple time all-star.
