What was the attendance at the beginning of the 4th quarter? 25,000?

The ABC announcers snarked that "a few people have left the house."

I dont blame them. I wouldnt pay 8 dollars a beer to watch us **** to bed. If They want the fans to stay and watch a subpar team drop the price of a beer to a dollar for the 4th qtr

Mediocre fans won't tolerate their team losing. Trust me, this years WV team is not mediocre and deserves better fans. But, where do you go to get them? That's what ole Warez wants to know. Warez

I didn’t attend the game.

$8 for a beer at a game actually is a decent price considering the market.

Fans mirrored the coaches and players...kinda just gave up.

I really am the best WVU fan ever. Ok..that was offtopic...but still true.

I didn't see where the team or coaches gave up, they were going full speed right till the whistle, they had to work for that last TD and 2 point conv.

Why complain about the fans when the team didn't show up. It was a **** show and I got tired of sitting in the rain and cold watching OsU play pitch and catch...

When the opposing quarterback is drier and cleaner than the fans in then stands at the end of the game, you know there has been problems. DH still hasn't figured out that the opposing QB must be put on the ground a few times any cost (15 yards or 6 points)...

Fans start rolling out of the stadium when their team falls behind and they think the game is basically over. It ain't just WV fans. the very mediocre fans around the country demand the W and when they don't get it they take it personal and whine. In the meantime, the very mediocre coach has a bad hair day and still smiles.................all the way to the bank. Warez

tejas...almost said "like" to your post but the part about mediocre fans wanting a W. Great fans want a W...band wagon fans want a Participation trophy event...and apparently so does the Mountaineer athletic department.
