The Donyell Marshall "thing" - little help please!

[AreYouNUTS]

I can't seem to figure out wtf is going on, in the other thread, so can someone please help me out:

- it hasn't happened, correct?

- is there ANY chance it will happen/where do things stand?

- who reported that it was done and why?

Thank you.

Did not happen. Don't know if it will. Yesterday, Adam Zagoria and Jon Rothstein reported it happened while the RU reporters kept saying their sources said it hadn't happened. Today Zagoria retracted. Don't know if Rothstein did.

Correct.

Could still happen. He's gotten other offers. One we know of is possibly a small school HC job.

- who reported that it was done and why?
Rothstein and Zags, for two. Others piggy-backed. And the "why" is because everyone hates Rutgers and wants us to be embarrassed, and certainly not because this type of stuff happens everywhere, all the time.

Thank you.
You're welcome

Careful your brother gave me a hard time last week, when I dared to question the lousy inside-info that the local hoops press tends to put out there, I wouldn't want you to be shut out of Lo-Bro Friday! [cheers]

Marshall among a cast of thousands interviewing for the Central Connecticut State job. Not exactly a locked down Hobbs search according to article linked below that someone posted under the heading of Shaheen Holloway being one of the candidates. Pikiell's top Stony Brook assistant Jay Young is listed as the frontrunner for the CCSU job per below:
