A Republican Senator did, Mike Lee. As usual you're ridiculous with your second sentence, there is literally zero evidence he was "far left" but you do you.
You think when he said "“This is what happens When Marxists don’t get their way” is a joke? Its more like a statement of fact not a joke. The guy that was appointed by two Leftist Governor's and was putting out "No Kings" flyers wasnt a leftist? Again why would a Rep kill two Dems that voted with the Reps? There is no logic there...

Also frustrating that on one hand the right right now is calling out the rhetoric of the left, and on the other hand regularly using the term "demoncrats". FTR, I didn't like it when the left used deplorables either. Both are dehumanizing and escalating rhetoric of the "other"

I was thinking about this last night, where did we begin with making our political enemies out to be evil and anti-American?

Both sides do and have done it, but it is so dangerous. For someone who is indoctrinated and has mental issues, it's not a big leap to think they are the "only hope" or are "saving" something. It gives unhinged folks one more reason to support illogical choices.

We have got to tone down the rhetoric and remember we are all Americans. There are lots of folks on this board I have argued with and absolutely disagree about policies. I'm going to do my best to try and remember that they all want what's best for themselves and their families, just like I do.

For one, I haven't. For another, I have seen demoncrats on here for years. So you want to say someone else said something first, fine. I have no way of proving who said the first dehumanizing name. But absolutely both sides do it now.

I don't support Kirk's murder. I think lumping him together with Lincoln, Kennedy, King, and Jesus Christ is absurd.

Frankly so is giving him the medal of freedom and letting him lie in state in the capital rotunda.

Particularly given the recent assassinations in Minnesota.

That wasn't his only post.

Also way over the top to say appointing someone to a non-partisan community board of 60 people without ever meeting him is some personal endorsement. Voting with someone once is also pretty silly, along with his list of 70 dems and abortion providers (a classic leftist position to hate /s)

Like I said, you're going to do you. You're consistently on here make things up about people, can never show where they said things previously, and use escalated language, call people names etc. Others absolutely respond in kind, so not going to act like it is just you, but anyways, you do you TRR.

This all started back in the 50's at its root. It was a Soviet plan carried out by the KGB. I forget but i will look later, there is a video on youtube from back in the 80's of a former KGB agent and he laid out the plan and much of what he said has come true. After the Soviet Union fell the CCP has been the one pushing this.

The person you’re remembering is almost certainly Yuri Bezmenov (a former KGB operative/defector) who did interviews in the 1980s warning about Soviet ideological subversion. Search - Microsoft Bing+3YouTube+3Hungarian Conservative+3

🔍 Who He Was & What He Said

  • Bezmenov defected from the Soviet Union, worked in propaganda and “active measures.” Hungarian Conservative+1
  • He described a multi-stage plan by which a society could be undermined from within:
    1. Demoralization — shifting the culture, education, media over time to accept ideologies counter to tradition. Hungarian Conservative+1
    2. Destabilization — weakening institutions (economics, law enforcement, media, foreign relations).
    3. Crisis — using a shock or crisis to bring change.
    4. Normalization — new order established once the crisis is over. Hungarian Conservative+1
  • He warned that by the 1980s much of the “demoralization” stage was already underway in the U.S. Hungarian Conservative+1

📺 Where To Watch

Here are links to some known interviews / full recordings of his discussion:

  • KGB defector Yuri Bezmenov’s Warning to America — another video containing his warnings. YouTube

Agreed. The constant fake news from both sides is exhausting and makes it so you can’t trust anything you read.
I like to see examples of fake news from "both" sides. My experience is that the people who say that want to sound unbiased, but never actually back it up.

So I’ll ask: The conservatives’ outrage of the last 30 hours, where was that level of emotion after these innocent deaths and/or attempted killings (in no particular order):
• Minnesota legislator’s death
• Capitol police casualties from J6
• Uvalde
• Trayvon Martin
• Emanuel African Methodist Episcopal Church
• Sandy Hook
• Pulse
• Vegas
• Fort Hood
• Ahmaud Arbery
• Blacksburg
• Gretchen Whitmer
• Parkland
• Texas First Baptist
• Gabby Giffords
• Lewiston
And hundreds more. Affecting thousands.

And a majority of attackers, statistically speaking, are angry and violent conservatives. Facts.

And every other developed country in the world prevents these things from happening at the rate they happen here. Not even close.

And Republicans are the ones blocking anything from being done and offering weak reasons why.

And Republican-run states have higher crime rates.

I’m not a both sides guy but I’ll say unflinchingly that liberals must also face up to problems with violence. Yet it clearly is not equivalent in the numbers on the streets or in the policy that Democrats stand on.

Stop listening to right-wing propaganda. Look at the statistics. They’re there.

Calling facts fake news or wall of text just because your political team doesn’t like them or is to blame for them is as un-American as it gets.

I feel absolutely heartbroken 💔 for the Kirk kids who will grow up without their father, just like all other kids who have lost a parent or both to senseless violence. Or to any circumstance, truly.

It’s never the kids’ fault.

I am a big fan of moderate politics. I register NPA. I have voted for Republicans. Not lately, not with today’s platforms.

I believe there are still some conservative elements that could help America be governed well if only they were being used. The people who espouse these things are being shouted down as RINOs when their platforms truly are conservatism in its most effective form for making America great.

But let’s be clear: There’s no ground to stand for Republicans getting sanctimonious about being a party of righteousness when, right now, that house is absolute trash.

🚨 JUST IN: President Trump responds to people who say “BOTH SIDES” are the problem

"The problem is on the left. It's NOT on the right!”

"When you look at the agitators —the scum that speaks so badly of our country, the American flag burnings all over the place — that's the LEFT, NOT the right."

Yea, Republicans generally aren’t the looting type. The videos during the summer of love pretty clearly show the make-up of that group.
They aren’t, but certainly make up for it when you look at white collar crimes. Depending on the source, wage theft is 3-15x larger than property theft. Trouble is that doesn’t make for very interesting news footage.

one of the "posts of the year".

We should make it a point to correct posters who just use name calling to make their point

some truth here. But do you think republicans are responsible for most white collar crime? Dems are currently the party of the elites and have lost and continue to lose working class votes. The top earners in this country heavily vote dem. The "educated" heavily vote dem. Seems dems likely commit more white collar crime than pubs? don't get me wrong, I realize both sides do it and people can be immorally opportunistic.

If there’s one thing this thread shows its that the left and right are identical: each has more than a fair share of people who actually define their lives by politics, rather than their families, their communities, their careers (if you must), or god forbid, their faith

Almost all the largest white collar crimes committed in the US were committed by white males. That demo consistently votes around 60% Republican and 38% dem.

That's a stupid post and meaningless without context. Just because white males vote 60% republican, you believe that any group of white males is 60% republican? That is asinine.

do you believe white gay men are 60% republican? Of course you do not.

do you believe white men in California are 60% republican? Of course you do not.

do you believe white male tenured college professors are 60% republican? you get the point.

And so, you have no evidence that republicans commit more white collar crime. That is a guess, and a wishful one. Yes, of course most white collar crime is committed by white men. but as I stated, the top earners in America by far vote dem. the most educated by far vote dem. You would surely agree that most white collar crime is committed by educated and high earning men, no? I'd venture to guess that most white collar crime is committed by the left.

Democrats are the party of the rich and the party of the elite.
