As long as I'm on this side of the dirt, I'm going to try and make the rest. The meet-up alone is worth it for sure. Truly a good time.

So.....last night, I'm in a bar, in chapel hill.....with a Duke shirt on....nobody says A word....except the bartender made a comment about "you're from ky, rocking a Duke shirt, in chapel hill?".....kinda funny! But nobody says a word all night.....I stop in West Virginia twice on the way home....nobody says a word.....get to ky and stop for gas and a drink,....not in the store 10 seconds before some joker says "you got nerve wearing that here".....so I reply, nerve ain't what I got a lot of...guess again!!.....seriously? Talk about rent free!!! Wow! They are so eat up with Duke!!
Dukefanky, you should of told that meat stick, he has some nerve talking to you while you had your Duke shirt on without your permission. 6-2 in the K Era, you would think he would just bow when you walked in lol. Bless their little hearts.
Dukefanky, it takes a big set of nuts and thick skin to be a hardcore Duke fan living in Ky. Mad props brother! Keep fighting the good fight for all of us Duke fans!

Thanks to all of you guys that waited on me at the table. Was great to say hello even for just a few minutes. Next year I will hopefully get my work schedule straight and take off the whole day to be there in time for the Skillet and hanging out.

CTC was great. The team intro was epic! That Zion dunk in warmup = wow!! A buddy of mine on press row caught it on video and it got 1.7 million views in under 24 hours. He had Slam magazine, Yahoo, ESPN just to name a few wanting access to the video. I will try to post the video soon.
We noticed that the Cameron Crazies has the signs/card with number 10 on them (the cards usually used in dunk contests) with them in the stands. After seeing that I thought that there would be a dunk contest. However, no dunk contest. Anybody have any info as to whether a contest was going to happen or not? Just curious.

id like to thank you all personally for coming. i was looking at the threads during the ctc event to see if there were any updates as we were at the coast this weekend. my wife says what are you looking at and i said look some of the guys from the board got together and took a picture in front of cameron. she then said, oh that is actually pretty cool and i got the ok to continue looking during dinner. so thank you.
This group will be MUCH larger next year. We're gonna get CRAZEEEEEE!

There are certainly some kindred spirits on DI. Turns out the internet is good for more than just watching...
It truly was a blast for me in more ways than one. If you guys are ever in the Atlanta area and need a place to stay, don't hesitate to look me up.
If we get the condo, clubhouse and pool back in shape before the ACC tourney I may have to throw the SHOW BASH this year.
