Troy Neal is a good coach. WVU has a good one.

I read that WVU is paying Neal Brown enough to make him the second highest paid football coach in the Big XII. Wow. That’s likely to change soon when OU bumps Riley up. Still Brown got a good increase. He is another Leach guy so to speak having played WR at Kentucky when Mike was the OC.....could be interesting.

I wonder if any of the firing in the NFL would leave good options for candidates as OU’s defensive coordinator? Once a coach is fired their staff positions often times open up as well. Their ought to be some really good candidates floating around looking for a great job and some bank.

To this point, I was hoping Zimmer at the Vikings would be needing a job...

6 yr 19 mil. Little over 3 mil a year. It will be 6th best in the league.

You’re right. I looked at the article I referenced and there’s a note at the bottom correcting the claim. Actually Brown will be the highest paid “new” Big 12 coach meaning more per year than Les Miles, Matt Wells and Chris Klieman. Big oops.
