I went to OSU law school and received a perfect score on the history achievement portion of my SAT. Don't think my academic record is too shabby. Currently the average admittee to OSU has a 3.85 gpa and 30 ACT. Not as good as Northwestern, but in top 20 public colleges in US.

Yes - Smith sat out a season alleging a certain coach was trying to prevent him from getting to medical school... then Smith played the following season and bolted for the NFL - never bothering to complete a degree at OSU (for comparison, the Steelers’ retired Ryan Shazier went back to finish up and graduated last weekend).
Smith made his millions with the Vikings but then abruptly retired after 8 seasons and has been doing the sports network gigs since.
