Screw it. It'll happen sooner or later anyway especially if he wins another championship or two in my opinion.

Give the name to Cal if its changed.

Nope win at least 4 championships then we may decide. Until then REPEATED numerous times move on because there are ZERO facts of Rupp being a racist. The man tried to get players to UK they have stated they didn’t want to travel South and therefore declined offers. WATCH the Rupp documentary he helped Black players goto other schools.

Suffice to say, this isn’t an option on the table at this point.
Even if the decision-makers wanted to do this (they don’t) - Cal is going to distance himself from any “name change” discussion or decision.

Pointless. If the bigoted and racist woke erase Rupp, then there is no Kentucky. No need for an arena. History will have been modified. We only have 4 Championships and nearly 900 fewer wins. They could just go back to playing in memorial. Victim of another cancelling by another group that have anointed themselves superior.

Without Rupp's influence and legend it doesn’t deserve a name. Civic Center will suffice.

We have former players and a coach who's jersey, all deservedly, should be in the rafters and fools are talking about renaming the entire arena after the current coach.

If when Coach Cal retires his resume exceeds Coach Rupp's then I'll be on board with such a suggestion. Doing it now simply to appease the liberal commie nutjobs, absolutely not.

Huh. Cal has been writing checks from BBN's fan account lately and he's almost overdrawn. He'd better make some deposits soon.

Let me tell you straight - there will be NOTHING named after Calipari, and if he is smart enough to have a finger on the pulse of BBN right now, he knows he has to do two things to maintain his status and lovability:

1. Win a title in the next 2 seasons
2. Better step up, sack up, and stand up for Rupp

Otherwise he'll lose the fanbase very soon.

Let's see how smart he is.

Cal is extremely intelligent...I think he has shown just that in how he has handled things thus far; including addressing the comments made by Brooks. His comment of, "not thinking Rupp was racist, BUT....if there something out there.....In other words, he played both sides of the fence, and done so very well. Dude is smart.

As for winning a title the next two years? Certainly could. If he doesn't though, yet goes to two FF's, with a runner-up in that two year window, you really think he loses the fan base?

If he doesn't stand up for Rupp, unless he wins a title I'm done with him and UKBB.

Sorry, Cal isn't close to the figure it would take to put his name on the wall and he damn sure ins't in the same galaxy as Adolph Rupp.

Halls resume is better than Cal's at this point when you consider the talent gap.

People don't like to hear it, but Pitino is close as well. When you take away his first two years for probation, you're looking at a coach who took Kentucky to the final four 50% of the time when they were eligible. I mean, he gave us the greatest Kentucky team of all time, one of the greatest Kentucky players of all time, and set up a roster that gave Tubby his only title. Pitino took Kentucky from probation to almost beating the top team in the country in the elite eight, and did it in less than two years. Anyone who has the fortitude to look past their emotions can see that Pitino is right there with Calipari and Hall.

Pitino is responsible for the greatest program rebuild in history of college sports. That's quite an achievement, considering he was only here 8 yours.

Since he professes to be a 'players first' coach, my guess is he bows to their demands

We count titles at Kentucky not for winning SEC titles. This by the way is according to Cal himself.

Lexington can keep the complex name as Rupp Arena.

We just need to emphasize it's Cawood's Court or something like that more. That the University play on Cawood's court or Calipari's Court in Rupp Arena.
