Hate when he takes the air out of the ball. The players seem to over think things instead of just reacting.
Death, taxes and Cal slowing the game down are 3 things you can count on.
Exactly. These guys shine when they play hard. This slow down stuff takes them out of their game....every.... freaking....time. I can't believe he doesn't see it.he should just look at the net score every time this goes in effect.
When the Cats are playing as well as they are on D, they can afford to slow it down on offense.

There's no justifiable reason to slow it down. Keep pouring it on them. The strategy makes a lot more sense in football. Cal has cost himself several games with this junk.

I don’t think it’s unwarranted. Part of the Calipari game strategy that has cost us multiple titles. We’re tired of it.
UK was up by 20 with under 10 mins left, so you run clock. It’s not as much fun to watch, but it helps seal the win.
I was referring to before that. I agree once you hit 10 min up by that much, before that, you're just begging to let them back in it.
Especially since we were having trouble making shots the 2nd half. Didn’t really slow down, just missed shots.

Part of that grind in this game was “I’m smoking my friend and not going to make it worse for him.” Barnes would have done the same thing.
Up 20 you don’t go run down and jack up a bunch of shots.

I don't know about 14 though. They just played terrible that game. All the magic just turned to crap that last game.
