Absolutely disagree!

They had been building up to Homelander going full berserker mode for 2 or 3 seasons & nothing! We needed to see his full V1 powers on display.

Also what was the point of having the gen V kids show up?

I found it to be a satisfying ending to an, at times, unwieldy show. I loved how they handled The Deep the entire show. I agree though, that there seems to have been no point in Gen V.

It was a great end and the season was fine. Sick of people always bitching about the end of shows and final seasons (except GoT, that was justified). There were some legitimate complaints and the timing did seem rushed but this series finale did very well.

Going to miss it. I really hope Vought Rising and Boys Mexico live up to it.

I just finished a rewatch of GoT, and my reaction was the same this time as it was during the initial run: the ending was well-written and well-executed. I am still not exactly sure what fans wanted or expected other than what was delivered.

I cannot understand your take at all. The show had been on a steady downward spiral from the moment the showrunners had to start creating their own ideas.

Do you really think Bran being in charge of everything was well written? You think The Long Night was a well executed conclusion to the main threat of an 8 season show?

I hate watched that last season but I at least knew going in that it'd be a train wreck.
