I thought I remember seeing someone bring this honor here before. Thinking about giving this show a chance. Has anyone see. It a d if so is it worth the time?

One of the better series I’ve watched

and only 2 seasons so you can watch pretty quickly. Good characters and some really messed up storylines - definitely worth the time. (Edit to add that Karl Urban as Billy Butcher is terrific, but you might want to watch with the cc on to catch all of what he’s saying.)

I’ve also been watching The Undoing on HBO. It’s been pretty good. The finale is this Sunday.

It’s fantastic. And even if you have superhero fatigue, it’s a fresh take on the genre. Don’t watch around any kiddos.

It's a great show and not like other superhero movies/shows for the most part.

It's definitely for adults, so watch with caution if there are kids around.

10/10 series. Superb acting. I would search the previous threads on it for more input. Be prepared to binge it, as you won’t want to quit watching.

It's just meh for me. I think it could be done a lot better. It's overly creepy, instead of dark like it should be IMO. Acting is pretty blah. It's got it's moments, but just isn't quite where it could be.

Great show. The Netflix originals these days feel like they were all created by five people in a room feeding woke texts to a supercomputer that churns out scripts designed for hollow binging. Refreshing to see this one on Prime.

Pretty much my thoughts as well.

Fantastic show. First episode has a few pretty intense shock moments

so be prepared.

It's based on a comic by a guy that *hates* superheroes - the very idea of them. So if you don't (or, in my case, even if you very much do) enjoy superhero movies, you can still enjoy this.

Also if anyone has gone as far as checking out the comic, it's even more horrible, if you're into that kind of thing.

Is Titans more close to a HBO series or WB series? I’m interested in this one as I have caught myself watching teen titans on Saturday morning for the potty humor

Same. It's very Hollywood. Hypocritically emphasizing all the things they are supposedly against (but in reality are the norm in their circles).

I’ve not seen the shows but this is similar to my thoughts about the graphic novel series it's based on.

Excellent show. The characters are well developed and dynamic- they have flaws, lives, etc. And its a fantastic commentary on consumerism, nationalism, and more.

It’s one of the best shows on. It’s in my top 3 for sure and one of my faves. Don’t watch with family or if you get easily offended. It’s not for pussies.

I’m not opposed to anti-superhero series & Ennis does great work generally. I think you’re right about the comic though.

I couldn’t finish reading the second volume of the definitive edition— and I liked Preacher.

Ennis lives on shock value. He's also responsible for "Crossed."

If you haven't read that, don't. It's grotesque for it's own sake. Truly 17ed up stuff.

I imagine you progressives love it. America, religion, patriotism, masculinity bad - immigrants, soy boys and homosexuality good.

This seems to come up once in each thread about the boys.
Its 17ing absurd, but SPS is full of the absurd since it gives everyone a voice.

Watched the first two episodes. Couple gruesome moments.

My question to one of you who posted - this writer has a comic that’s worse than this? Worse than people exploding?
