Yeesh. How does one "get up" for an Iowa game? I mean GD, if I had the worst case of insomnia ever, I'd just hit up an Iowa game. Tell us how you Iowa fans do it. Is it the anticipation of the pointy hatted rally at your palatial trailer home with your sister/baby's mama afterward that gets you all excited?
Iowa will probably have their offense figured out by Thanksgiving when we play them, but geez they look like a team we could actually beat right now.
They're bad across the board. Petras is bad, the receivers don't help him much, nothing at RB, and the OL is ****. LaPorta is a good player at TE.

Last year! Classic, Iowa fans not only live in the past but they brag about lame seasons.
I don’t know how serious the Starting QB from Illinois is but without him Illinois won’t win the West and I think Minnesota beats them next week…

Along with AD Barta, they have their own little IC mafia set up. They are untouchable! Obviously can see what the plan was, have BF take over for daddy when KF walks away. Problem is, BF is horrible as a OC as long as daddy is unwilling to open up the offense. They’ve scored 7 offensive TD’s in 6 games. They have yet to even try the back up QB to jump start the offense. Good defense as always though. OSU will name the score on them.
Well, if you want to go that route, the B1G also has 2 of the top 4 teams in the country and that OSU team - with their NOW decent defense (unlike 2020 and 2021) could win the NC in January. You can spin this crap all kinds of different ways

it's a problem..
hopefully iowa' suckage on offense wears down their defense by the time we play them....like our offense last year did to our defense..

Iowa-Illinois was painful to watch, but I’m just glad Sitkowski put his forearm on the ground before frittering the ball away. With Riley Moss being one of the league’s all-time media darlings, we would have suffered through that replay on BTN at least 100,000 times over the next 10 years.
Illinois gave Iowa plenty of chances to put the game away but their putrid offense blew it.
Pretty sad when your defense gives you the ball at the 2/3 yard line and you still can’t punch it in for a TD.
Not sure, Maryland had a extra point blocked an then when they converted a 2 point conversion to get it back they had illegal procedure. Easily could have gone OT
I have a feeling our running game will come alive, and Grant will have a big day.
