everybody, or at least most people who understand politics know that Biden's selection as the Democrat nominee in 2020 was a "stop Bernie" move. There were multiple better candidates running for office who could have done the job Biden did, but they needed a stopgap and Biden was it.

Like most presidents, Biden did some good things and some not so good. So, banging on his performance after the fact is kind of useless.

Where I think criticism is warranted is in the fact that democrats were prepared to put him up as their candidate again in 2024....and, had it not been for the debate performance, Biden would have been the Democrat candidate for that election. So, for all those who use the word "cultist" to describe supporters, what does it tell us about the politicians in DC who, even after the debate, gaslit the public about Biden's bad night, tired from a flight, on medication, and how in normal circumstances he was at the top of his game..

The original tape of him getting confused and not knowing up from down was from 2017! He was mentally unfit in 2020 which is why he ran a basement campaign and hid from the media his entire presidency.
