People probably forget that DJK was living in a drug house (one of the things that got him in Kirks doghouse) and it was frequented by a few of the regular players on the team. One failed his drug test at the combine and it cost him a few rounds in the draft.

If I remember right, Ballard was one of the first prominent players to come out against Doyle too. Rumor was at the time KF was behind the leak that DJK was running a drug house.

Ballard was a KC area kid from Lawrence and was the #4 ranked TE coming out of high school at 6'4" and 270lbs. Made an impact right away at Iowa as a DE. Had a heck of career at Iowa and Kiper had him going in round 1 of the draft until he failed the drug test and slid to round 4. Don't think he and DJK were the only ones either in that senior group. There was talk of a real divide in the locker room in 2010. Basically Stanzi's group and DJK's guys. Really screwed up what should have been a really good team.

Well, thank god drugs are only happening at Penn State and nowhere else.

Now that the college Mecca for iniquity has been busted, hopefully there are no more drug rings (or burning pubescent buttholes) on college campuses anymore.
