It’s been way too long since we’ve had a good Batman movie, and this one definitely looks promising, but I’m nervous about Pattinson. A skinny Brit just doesn’t strike me as the Bruce Wayne type, but I’ll give it a shot

In other DC news...The Flash movie will have Affleck and Keaton as their multiverse versions of Batman/ Bruce Wayne.

Like everyone one else, I don’t like the actor playing Batman.

But I admit, I’m pretty ok with that trailer.

Michael Keaton played the roll the way DC originally wrote it. As a comic book character. And Jack Nicholson was a fantastic Joker. How he became the Joker was even comical.

I want to hate it because of the obvious, but that looks really dark and Batman is supposed to be dark. Looks good imo.

Anyone who hates Pattinson likely knows nothing about him other than Twilight.

He's legit. Watch some of his other work, like The Lighthouse.

Trailer looks great, but I still don’t love the choice as Batman. Twilight was terrible for the perception If him as an actor.

Did anybody else watch the "Crisis on Infinite Earths" crossover with the "Arrowverse" DC shows on the CW (Arrow, Flash, Supergirl, Batwoman, Legends of Tomorrow)?
It was pretty good and contains references to almost every past DC show and movie.

Ledger nailed the sinister twisted mind of the Joker. Nicholson’s Joker reminds me more of blend of sinister Joker and the Joker of the 1960s TV show.

Everyone loves on Heath Ledger's Joker, but Jack was much more true to the cartoon/comic character of at least my youth.

Batman has gotten darker as time went along. Heath's performance was a sign of the times, 20 years later. Both were good performances but I liked Jack's better because it's superheros in capes, it's supposed to be a bit cheesy and comical. If you want more true to life comics ... Punisher should be more your go to movie / comic. Batman wears a cape... who does that? That makes it very difficult to blend in to do real detective work. That's a fantasy land and fun and playing it over the top and a bit comical like Jack was just spot on for me.

Heath did bring a whole new angle. I can appreciate both for sure.

But... Best Batman, is Keaton, no doubt though, no matter the year.

Jack Nicholson was immortalized as the Joker with that line IMHO.

And lead in one of the best movies ever made, Gung Ho.

He is under appreciated to me. He was great in Mr. Mom and Beetlejuice. I really like his role in the Spiderman movie, but his work in Spotlight was really great. Y'all should watch it if you can.
