Of course they do. UL has an appeal in process and there is no final word yet.
Call me crazy but for some reason I think they know the banner will stay but other penalties will come. Why would Adidas throw that much $$$ at UL knowing that their could be a good chance the banner is gone. UL would have some negative press for awhile and for Adidas to be associated with that mess. What the hell do I know.

How awesome would it be. If someone could get a video & post it on here. Of the 12,&13 banners being taken down after UL loses their appeal. How many views would it get?
Good way to make money. They could sell 20 thousand tickets to the same UK fans that came to see us raise the banner in '12. [banana]
Even IF UofL and UNC have to take banners down (and UNC won't), it probably won't matter to those fan bases for too long.

Umm, this may come as a surprise but penalties have already been assessed. The banners come down. UL has filed for an appeal.
You have to admit they have really cleaned up the sports programs & university in general.
In the last 2 weeks there have been no questions raised of stealing from the university, head coaches having sex with volleyball players, board of trustees wives or just plain sex on restaurant tables. No recent reports of strippers & hookers at minardi, shootings, drug overdoses, robberies & rapes. Wont help them the banner is gone.

I am going to be one happy guy when that banner comes down. Got 2 ladies that live here in my community that think UL did no wrong. Will I rub it in.............you better believe I will. :sunglasses:
I have an older brother who is a luvile fan and I remind him of those squirts and he say's it goes on everywhere. I just laugh and say ok stupid.. I have to forgive him on it a little, he lived and worked at GE and lived up there all those years. I tell him he is nothing but a Buckeye which is a worthless nut.....

They will just hang some other banners commemorating those years in defiance of the punishment. I can't wait until they come down. Especially after seeing a personalized license plate the other day one of their fans had that said IBOOUK. One of those fans that hate us more than they like their own team.

I don't recall. Funny how this is so tame nowadays. I can watch drunk college kids do much worse on YouTube these days.
Funny that some people thought the banner was down. Still think a decent chance it never comes down even though they won it with illegal players. UL does a lot of clandestine stuff behind the scene we will never know about.
Same fans were heard saying, "Cal did not go to the FF at Memphis, I looked in the record books and didn't see it" Now they are singing a different tune hmmm
