"A women’s rights group demanded action after a transgender weightlifter dominated a recent tournament and is free to compete at next year’s Tokyo Olympics.

The controversy stems from Laurel Hubbard’s performance at the Games in Samoa earlier this month, where she won two golds and a silver in three of the women’s heavyweight categories."

So my question is, what does the chick look like that beat him for the gold in one of those categories?

This will be fun to watch and see how it plays out.

If it hasnt happened, I think its only a matter of time before males want to play NCAA womens volleyball, basketball, etc. and in the current climate, how will they be denied? Are the rights of females more important than those who claim to be females? I wonder how all of that will impact title IX.

This has happened in cycling already where a dude entered a time trial as a woman and surprise, dominated. It was a weird picture to say the least on the podium, where he is clearly a dude that dwarfs over the real girls and yes the girls weren't happy about it. I think it's hilarious, and my first thought is always the same...If only somebody could have seen this coming.

Exactly...When Title 9er was created no one thought this would become a thing...but just wait for the first guy to say "I am not really a dude, I am a girl...I want on the girls volleyball team"

Biological males in tight volleyball shorts will be the end of that sport.

For a long long time, girls have been forced on boys teams because there were no girls teams.
This works when young, not so much later on, but still, it happens.
Instead of these groups complaining, how about creating girls teams?

I obviously think there should always be seperation, and if others want something different, create your own.

Women should be tending to their families instead of all this other non fulfilling nonsense that our society keeps pushing on them. There is a reason women are unhappy, and it's not because they don't have enough freedoms, it's because they have too many.
Not saying I agree with this 100%, but I get what you are saying. Society is trying to create this mush of people. No men, no women, no color, no religion, no history. We as a species were meant to have 2 separate genders. As all other species do( yes I know there are a few species that can change sex in certain situations), it is not meant as a pick and choose type of thing. Men and women were created differently, each having their own special attribute. When we as a society try going against what nature intended. Things get F ed up. We are seeing that is all aspects of this world, not just men/ women.

I can't believe that there are this many men that want to compete against women.

At any rate, most colleges have zero power to confront or stop this trend.

Openly admitting that men and women are different won't fit with current teaching.

And this, so called society, driven by certain teaching and media, is practiced by few.
As you say, there arent many, and this distortion of reality simply falls on its face, but to those who promote it, it only helps destroy sports, things their society put at an extremely low level of worth/value.
I love women, they need their stuff, little guys need theirs, so too little girls, but the weirdos have been running society for too long, and its creepy and creeping in in every direction.

I would like to identify as a lesbian, but the very people that tell me how we're supposed to be OK with boys pretending to be girls and visa versa, would never let me convince them that I am, in fact, a **************. Seems hypocritical. I really want to be a lesbian, seems hot.

He was a guy, became a girl that became a lesbian.
This was back in the late 80s, I look at that poor guy and wonder, pioneer? Example?
He was confused, she was confused.
Havnt seen him in decades, not sure he made it.

There is actually a pretty big divide in the LGBTQ community because of situations just like this. Below is a small portion of an article about Martina Navratilova being kicked out from a LGBT group for her comments. The headline is linked to the full article.

Martina Navratilova ousted from LGBT group for telling the truth about transgender women

Tennis great Martina Navratilova is the target of LGBTQ scorn after dropping a truth bomb on transgender women. On Sunday, Navratilova wrote a controversial op-ed wherein the 18 time Grand Slam champion called transgender women who compete in women’s sports “cheats.”

“Letting men compete as women simply if they change their name and take hormones is unfair — no matter how those athletes may throw their weight around,” Navratilova wrote. This was too much for some folks. Immediately, Athlete Ally, a non-profit organization that advocates for LGBTQ inclusion and equality in sports, particularly transgender athletes, severed ties with Navratilova and released her from their board.

Navratilova identified as bisexual in the 1980s and later identified as a lesbian. She's been married to Julia Lemigova since 2014.

Was he packing some serious heat in those shorts too? That would be the funniest part about that pic IMO.

We have a fair number of gay friends, mostly women and even they don’t quite understand the transgender crowd.

Don’t women’s groups claim there is no difference between males and females?

I appreciate how this thread is directly relevant to Husker football and the State of Nebraska itself...
