That was a big *** win tonight... Jordy, Roby and Copeland all had 4 fouls with 10 minutes left. Wisconsin goes up 55-44 and the crowd goes crazy after a monster Iverson dunk... Nebraska procedes to finish the game on a 30-8 run on the road to win it by 11.

That was sweet! These boys knew what was on the line and took it to em'

Agree. Huskers stepped up the defensive effort in a big way and it helped jump-start the offense. Won't be a huge RPI booster, but that's a big eye test win - especially since they had to overcome TV Ted Valentine and the other two homers who were working the game.

Will Palmer be back next year if he keeps scoring 20-30 a game? We could be a special team next year if everyone stays.

Outstanding game. Very impressive job by Coach Miles in managing a very precarious situation. A few points in that game where it looked like Wiscy would pull away but the skers just would not wilt. Great win.

Badgers have no one except Happ, we finally switched to the 1-3-1 and it neutralized him leaving no one else able to score.

Happ's quickness and moves make him McHale like in the post.

I felt Miles needed an upper-half finish in the Big Ten this season in order to get another year, and I still think so. But that's nearly a certainty now, so he'll be back. And yeah the Big Ten is down this year, but you still have to go out and win the games. Northwestern and Minnesota were supposed to upper-tier teams this season and have not done crap.

I can't remember where I saw it (it was in either the LJS or OWH Big Ten Power Standings), but there is a graphic out there showing Minnesota's wins against either RPI Top 50 or Top 60. They have like five such wins, but then lose games they have no business losing. They can beat anyone in a given night.

As a huge Minnesota fan, I don't think they can beat anyone on a given night anymore. Way too depleted of a lineup. Of course the suspension on Lynch is a big deal, but 3 starters are unable to practice because of various injuries. They are playing in games but not practicing. The injury bug has hit them hard.

I've never really figured out where the stars are on Minnesota's resume. They did get a good early road win at Providence and they beat Alabama in that game the Tide finished with three players. Other than that, I just don't see much there.

Wisconsin win was a quadrant 2 victory at the end of the game, but sadly and quadrant 3 victory as we woke up this morning.

Who in God's name would have guessed Miles would have the success he is having this season after last Spring?

That man has nine lives. Good for him and you guys. I was looking at the standings today and NU is clearly in if the tourney started tomorrow.

I saw at the gym last night a projection of NCAA tournament teams from the Big Ten with seedings assigned (I only remember the ones I listed). They listed 5 teams:
Purdue
Ohio State
Michigan State
Michigan (8)
Maryland (last 4 in)

Nebraska was not listed.

Wisconsin had a chance to finally knock Maryland off the bubble, but faded at the end. Badgers down three with under five seconds left, and Eddie Floorburn Davison decides to drive to the hoop instead. What a stupid play.
