Watching the Rutgers game and couldn't help but notice that the QB is downright terrible right now.
Either over shooting, undershooting open receivers.
Looking like Joe Bauserman out there.

Iowa’s defense looks pretty nasty right now.

They’re probably the most talented team in the West but their schedule is so tough.

Wis probably the 2nd most talented team but ditto with their schedule.

Yep, Iowa's defense is the real deal. Geeesh.......they're pretty damn good. Offensively is average at best.
I’m not sure I agree. They spread the ball around in unusual ways for Iowa...have around 240 yds in 1h while starting 4 drives inside 10. A team to watch if the stay healthy

There playing Rutgers, wait till they play better competition

They will definitely play more explosive teams but nobody with a better overall defense than Iowa has. I also think Iowa can move the ball against anyone in the B1G.

Well, one can look at differently. To me, Iowa's defense has curb-stomped Rutger's offense completely.....giving them nothing but 3 & outs. Rutgers defense is simply totally exhausted.

But, we'll agree that Iowa is just way too much for Rutgers.

Making a big deal over stopping Rutgers offense is like bragging about getting laid with a girl you found at the bar after 1:30 a.m.

Their offense looks like they are loaded at multiple positions, pick your poison .
Biggest problem with Iowa is their coaching staff. They will inevitably coach them into close games like Nebraska last year. They were dominating the Huskers...had a chance to kick a fg to go up 3 scores... decided to go for it which would have put them up 3 scores...didn't get it...NU scores a bunch in a row with the momentum and nearly wins the game. Iowa should be a juggernaut because Iowa City has access to Chicago, Des Moines, St. Louis and the South. They also have no problem with bringing in suspect characters who are talented. Sadly they have had very conservative coaches who try to pretend that Iowa needs to be an NFL offense that runs through the defense. This keeps games close and close games become coin flips...which is why iowa loses 2 or 3 a year when they shouldn't.

Rutgers needs to hire the Army coach and run the triple option. Only way they'll ever be able to compete in the Big Ten East.

The yellow and black team isn't doing anything ultra fantastical. They are just letting Rutgers be Rutgers.

I think Iowa is just playing vanilla not showing the fancy stuff until they get deep into conference play. Holding back in my opinion.

Iowa looks tough. Ohio State looks great. Maryland looks dynamic on offense. Northern Illinois looks good again.

Michigan looks like a pile of pig ****. Lol

Rutgers is playing much harder down after down than they have done in past years, Chris Ash will make them better if they give him chance.
