That ninth inning was certainly special but....

[thekimmer]

One player who made a splash in his last DNF appearance that is not being talked about as much as the other two is Cole Gordon who ended his DNF career with a perfect ninth and a swinging strike out.

Cole Gordon in the postseason might as well be Mariano Rivera. He has been spectacular in both of these last two runs.

How about Plumlee! What a game! Give up lead off home run then only allow one more hit through 6 2/3. And loved his reaction to Mac homer as well.

Plumlee is a gamer. Very proud on this team, they have it going on right

now.

Skelton is my MVP for this regional. Stud performance.

That 9th inning may be my most memorable piece of an MSU sporting event. I'm struggling to think of another play, quarter, half, inning, etc. more poetic than that and the way those seniors closed it out.

That was a fun 9th to witness.

It was an all senior kind of night. Just unbelievable to watch. It's been said many times, but these seniors and this team are special. I've never watched an MSU team like this before.

Morning after, that was a top 10 MSU moment for me. Just wish I could have been there.
