Thank you to all of our players and their families for the support they have given to a beleaguered fan base. They could have left us. They could have folded on us. They could have forsaken us. Instead, they looked to each other and out of pride and respect for one another made this a season to remember. Go Cats!

I was very beleaguered fan as well.

Maybe it was guilt for the actions of some. Maybe it was stubborn pride to prove they could defy the narrative proposed by many (including myself internally). Regardless this team was special.

Obviously Braun will (and should) garner the attention for the success but everyone involved deserves credit. This includes the parents - who raised great young men, assistance coaches (even Bajakian and Andersen), the supporting staff, etc.

Tonight I will relish the results and drink as many beers as when I thought our season was ruined.

Tomorrow I will start thinking of the 2024 season.
