For your loyalty. You could've gone anywhere, named your price but you chose to come home to Husker Nation. It's a new era of hope for us.
This is also my sentiment. Scott Frost could have his pick of jobs, and he is choosing to come to a place that may not be as attractive as some others. He is doing so out of a sense of loyalty. I'd like to think I'd do the same, but maybe I'd chase the money and prestige instead.
Four years ago I was fortunate enough to have a 15-minute conversation with Scott Frost. He was as genuine of a person as you could meet. When he found out I was from Nebraska, he kept asking me questions -- where'd you go to high school, how often do you get home (he referred to it as home), don't you miss it, wouldn't you like to go back there and live someday. I came away very impressed with him as a person and hoping that this young version of Tom Osborne would someday return to coach the hometown team. I thank him for his sense of loyalty and love for his home state. I look forward to backing him and his team.

Great thread. As a native Nebraskan who now lives out of state, thank you Scott! I know you will unite the Husker fanbase and breathe some badly needed life into this program. We look forward to you finally bringing Husker football into the 21st century, and we know eventually the wins will come. GBR!
