His Mom is very proud and has many reasons to be.

I’m sure his mom is proud but that tweet is apparently from his proud sister. Way to fumble a post about a guy who never fumbles. You had one job to do. Thankfully, the post is not the program.

Congratulations to the Monangai family and of course Kyle on a career that will go down in history as one of the best! Thank you!!!

Even in high school some of us could see that he was special and the kind of guy you wanted carrying the ball for your team. What a privilege to have watched him do so for my team....Rutgers.

I seem to remember him mishandling an onside kick....I think it was in the bowl game vs. Miami.
But that's not really a fumble.
I knew he never fumbled. But I didn't know that he NEVER fumbled. Incredible.

Wow! No fumbles is ridiculous. Is that accurate?
Checked his game log for all 4 years. No fumbles. Comparisons:

Pacheco- 2 in 2018 in one game, 2 total for career
Ray Rice - 0 fumbles

Ashton Jeanty (Boise-Heisman candidate) - (3 years) 6 career fumbles
Kaleb Johnson (Iowa) -(3 years)- 3 career fumbles
Devin Neal (Kansas) (4 years) - 5 career fumbles
Jordan James (Oregon) (3 years) 0 career fumbles
Bhayshul Tuten (Va Tech) (4 years) - 10 career fumbles
Woody Marks (USC) (5 years) - 5 career fumbles
Phil Mafah (Clemson) 4 years) -5 career fumbles

Seems pretty rare for current players based on above sampling of top running backs.

An all-time great . I hope he doesn’t play in the bowl .
Good luck to him
I’d love to see him play in a bowl and hope like heck he does. Shocking someone would hope he doesn’t play, which is basically the same as saying he should worry about getting injured, which happens to be everything Kyle isn’t, he’s afraid of nothing…
If he doesn’t play he doesn’t.

He’s going to be a great NFL player, blitzing D Backs beware, you’re going to get lit up

People don’t believe it when they hear the ball is the program . It is at RU.

I'm OK with him not playing. He has earned that right. He literally carried the team the last two years.

Never heard of anyone earning the right not to play.
Been around all stars and hall of famers all my life.
Everyone is ok with him not playing, I’m hopeful he does!
I heard he isn’t going to play.

You hope he doesn’t play in a bowl? Weird statement that is against everything Kyle stands for as a player, teammate and student athlete of RU. If he is healthy I don’t think you can keep him a way from the bowl game .
Maybe you haven’t followed college football in years ?? Or didn’t watch Miami against us last year ?
Good players opt out of these bowls all the time

Because it’s time for him to get ready for the NFL.
You know how this works now . You just want to complain

Oh I watched players skip the bowls just never heard a fan actively root for it. Strange take. Players skipping is going to be an issue soon as more and more skip these games fans and sponsors will not be happy. You will be happy I guess watchin* no name players in bowl games . And we also have to hear , like we did last year, yeah you beat Miami but they were missing players. Sick of hearing that.

They're not KM, but I wouldn't call Raymond and Benjamin no names.

KM and Powell need to do what is best for them. They have both given us so much. The NFL will be life changing and a once in a lifetime opportunity. I also hope they both decide not to play in the bowl.

I also believe that Coach will give them that advice.

I heard he isn’t going to play.
I've heard the same thing. I selfishly would love to see him play in the bowl game. One last game.
But I understand why he'd pass on it.
I also can't wait to see him in the NFL.
