You have to remember. This is an Iowa fan. Their last recognized national championship was never. Therefore, everything seems impossible.

1959 but that’s beside the point. As an Iowa fan, I’ve seen how close you can be, yet be so far away from winning one. It would take Urban Meyer or Nick Saban to win a title at Nebraska and that’s not happening.

National Champ, no. Big 10 champ I’d say 1 every 15 years. The talent gap is crazy. But, you take a chance on a QB like TA that no one else wants and get a Big 10 title every 15 years. We better hope they don’t mix up the West. We’re really the 5th or 6th best program in the Big and that’s not changing.
